Hans Timme

Hans Timme (born June 15, 1911 in Hamburg , † July 13, 1995 in Lübeck ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Hans Timme was the son of a brewer and attended secondary school . He did an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman , in this profession he also worked.

After the Second World War , Timme worked for the fire society in Berlin . He joined the SPD in 1953 and later became a member of the district council in the Kreuzberg district . Due to the sudden death of Willy Henneberg, Timme moved to the Berlin House of Representatives in September 1961 , to which he was a member until 1963. From 1964 he was on the board of the fire society and later its chairman .
