Brewers and maltsters
Brewer and maltster is a state-recognized training occupation in Germany according to the Vocational Training Act and the Crafts Code . He is dedicated to the craft of beer brewing and malting .
The training usually lasts three years and takes place in a brewery , malt house or in the beverage industry. Vocational school lessons usually take place as block lessons in supraregional specialist classes.
There rise further training for brewing and Malzmeister with the examination before the Chamber of Crafts and operation brewmaster with IHK exam.
