Herbert Pass
Herbert Pass (born February 18, 1913 in Vienna , † 1983 ibid) was an Austrian draftsman , painter and graphic artist .
Live and act
Herbert Pass studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under Carl Fahringer and was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus from 1949 . Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad followed, honors and prizes (excerpts):
- Venice Biennale 1950, Sao Paulo Biennale 1951
- Austrian State Prize in 1948 and again in 1950
- Honorary Award of the Vienna Künstlerhaus 1958
- Prize of the Federal Ministry for Education 1959
