Herbert Singer
Herbert Singer (born January 4, 1923 in Cologne , † June 17, 1970 ibid) was a German literary scholar.
Life
After graduating as Dr. phil. in Cologne on June 6, 1950 and habilitation at the Free University of Berlin in 1959, he was professor of German literary history and general literary studies at the University of Hamburg from 1962 to 1968 and then full professor at the University of Cologne .
