Herbert Wirzius

Herbert Wirzius (born June 19, 1937 in Kirn ) is a German management consultant and holder of the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .

Career

Wirzius was born the son of a house painter. After elementary school, Wirzius completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale merchant and worked for seven years in a Kirner food wholesaler. In 1958 he moved to the then independent Kaffee Hag company as a sales representative, and later became the national sales director of Kraft Jacobs Suchard.

In 1976 I started volunteering with the organization of an evening for the problem child campaign . From 1978 to 1993 he was head of the table tennis department at FC Hennweiler .

He later held a managerial position at the Hennweiler Tourist Association. Five villages were integrated, five departments were created. In 1979 he moved into the local council , in 1999 he became a member of the association council , and in 1999 he became a local councilor. In 1992 he led the Friends' Association 1000 Years of Hennweiler through the anniversary event. He holds other positions on the boards of the Hunsrück Schiefer- und Burgenstrasse and the Friends of Wartenstein Castle .

In 1996 Wirzius founded the Lützelsoon Friends' Association . In 2001, the Soonwald Foundation Help for Children in Need was set up, which in the same year became the parents' initiative of the Idar-Oberstein Clinic . In 2007 Wirzius received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his social commitment.

Wirzius has lived with his wife Ingrid in Hennweiler near Kirn since 1965. His wife Ingrid Wirzius is also involved in aid organizations. Wirzius also writes regional cultural texts and poems.
