Heribert Gram

Heribert Gram (born February 4, 1909 in Selzthal , † December 23, 1983 in Amstetten ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 1959 to 1970 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

Gram attended elementary school for four years and then three classes at a community school. He then switched to the technical school for the iron and steel industry in Waidhofen an der Ybbs and entered the service of the Böhler & Co. company . In the political arena, Gram was active as a functionary of the Christian trade unionists between 1927 and 1938, after the Second World War he became district party chairman of the ÖVP Waidhofen an der Ybbs. In addition, he worked as regional chairman of the Austrian Workers' Association (ÖAAB) Lower Austria and represented the ÖVP in the National Council between June 9, 1959 and March 31, 1970.
