Herman M. Schwartz

Herman M. Schwartz (* 1958 ) is an American political scientist . He is a professor at the University of Virginia .

Life

Schwartz studied at Swarthmore College ( BA , 1980) and Cornell University ( MA , 1984; Ph.D. , 1986). From 1986 to 1989 he was an assistant professor at the New School for Social Research . Since 1989 he has been a professor at the University of Virginia. Among other things, he teaches and researches the relationship between state policy and national and international markets, as well as the global economy, in particular the employment policy of European countries and Australia compared to Germany and the USA.
