Hermann Bokelmann

Hermann Bokelmann (born May 31, 1929 ) is a German local politician ( SPD ).

Life

Bokelmann joined the SPD in 1961. From 1962 to 1998 he was chairman of the local SPD association in Harpstedt . From 1964 to 2006 he was a member of the Harpstedt municipal council and from 1964 to 1996 mayor . During his tenure, the partnership with the French community Loué was established in 1969 , in which he played a key role. From 1964 to 1977 Bokelmann belonged to the district council of the county of Hoya . After its dissolution, he was a member of the district council of the Oldenburg district from 1977 . From 1991 to 2001 he was the district administrator of the district of Oldenburg.

On February 10, 1988, Bokelmann was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. Bokelmann was a member of the 15th Federal Assembly on March 18, 2012.
