Hermann Lotheißen

Martin Klaus Hermann Georg Karl Lotheißen (born July 11, 1831 in Darmstadt , † March 8, 1888 ibid) was a German civil servant and district administrator.

Hermann Lotheißen was the son of the court president and member of the court Friedrich Lotheißen (1796-1859) and his wife Sophie nee Kroencke. Hermann Lotheißen, who was a Protestant denomination, married Pauline, born in Darmstadt, on October 1, 1864, Schädler (1838–1908), the daughter of government councilor Karl Schädler.

He studied law at the Universities of Gießen, Heidelberg and Göttingen where he joined the Corps Starkenburgia . In 1850 he became a member of the government in Darmstadt. In 1861 he was promoted to Ministerial Secretary in the Grand Ducal Ministry of the Interior. From 1874 to 1881 he was a district councilor in the Worms district . In 1881 he returned to the state government as a ministerial advisor and worked there in the ministries of the interior and the judiciary.
