Hermann Rottengruber

Hermann Rottengruber (born July 11, 1968 in Mainburg , Germany) is a German mechanical engineer.

Life

After school and training as a car mechanic in Mainburg, he studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich . He successfully completed his doctorate in 1999 at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Motor Vehicles there. He dealt with the operating and exhaust behavior of a hydrogen diesel engine. He then worked as a project and team leader at BMW AG, among others .
Since 2012 he has been Professor of the Chair of Energy Conversion Systems for Mobile Applications (EMA) at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg .
Among other things, he prepares scientific reports and is the conference leader of the symposium on engine and unit acoustics.
