Hermann Schüling (politician, 1867)

Joh. Hermann JM Schüling (born December 30, 1867 in Rhede , † after 1932) was a German politician ( center ).

Life

The son of the businessman and landlord Hermann Schüling attended grammar school up to Obersekunda and then took part in economics courses at the Volksverein for Catholic Germany . He joined the postal service in February 1886 as a postal worker and in May 1897 became postmaster head of the post office in Amern - St. Georg . He was also the district manager of the Volksverein for Catholic Germany in the Kempen district .

Schüling was a board member of the local political association of the German Center Party and honorary chairman of the Center Party in the Kempen district. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly . In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged without interruption until the end of the third legislative period in 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 23 (Düsseldorf-West).

Hermann Schüling was married to Paula Niemeyer since 1892.
