Hermann Thümmler

Hermann Thümmler († January 12, 1940 in Chemnitz ) was a German publisher and bookseller.

After years of apprenticeship and traveling as a bookseller, Thümmler came to Chemnitz in 1905, where he took over the Invalidendank bookstore, which he expanded into a large company. He was a member of the Erzgebirge Association and promoted the publication of Erzgebirge literature. In the 1920s he was forced to sell his publishing house. His son was the later SS-Obersturmbannführer Johannes Thümmler .
