Hermann of Württemberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hermann von Württemberg was a württembergischer nobleman in the 13th century.

Hermann von Württemberg was mentioned only once in a document as "Eremanus, filius comitis de Wirtenperg" . In 1231 he witnessed a consent to a sale of goods by Count Ulrich von Ulten . The Tübingen historian Hansmartin Decker-Hauff saw in Hermann the father of Count Ulrichs I and with this view establishes the genealogical connection between Ulrich and his predecessors Ludwig III. and Hartmann I. ago. It is considered likely that Hartmann I was Hermann's father.
