The most advanced and capable heroes in the universe are built in the Hero Factory. Your only job is to protect the world from evil. The leader of the alpha team is Stormer, who is the best in the Hero Factory. Bulk and Stringer fight alongside him, but Stormer is more ambitious than his peers and has an additional drive. Years ago, when Stormer was a beginner, he had a particularly risky assignment. Their leader was injured and so it fell to Stormer and his friend Von Ness to successfully complete the mission. But Von Ness let him down at the time and Stormer was completely on his own. Stormer was able to successfully complete the mission, as have all of his assignments since then. And yet betrayal is close to him.
A new training team has arrived at the Hero Factory to complete their training with Stormer and his team. With them is Furno, the Factory's best apprentice since Stormer. Furno takes his training pretty seriously and wants Stormer's approval. To do this, he challenges himself anew every day. In addition to Furno, the two new Surge and Breez begin their training. Together they try day after day to prove that they are real fighters and heroes. When the troops start their fight against evil, they quickly realize that their opponents are not acting alone. Apparently they all work for one leader. Someone from Stormer's past, with the job of eliminating the Hero Factory and Stormer.
