Herpetophobia

Herpetophobie (from give a wiki. Herpein ( ἕρπειν ) crawl , creep and Herpeton ( ἕρπετον ) reptile and from the gr. Fobos ( φόβος ) anxiety , fear ) is a specific anxiety disorder , directed against creeping or crawling animals such as lizards or reptiles. The term is also used reduced to fear of snakes .

Also in animals, e.g. B. Rhesus monkeys , fear of snakes is observed and the development is attributed to learning processes .
