Manor house Groß Kedingshagen
The manor house Groß Kedingshagen is a manor house on the northern outskirts of the district of the same name in the municipality of Kramerhof in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen .
The neo-Gothic mansion is a two-storey, multi-axis plastered building with a striking hexagonal tower with a hexagonal lantern attachment on the south side. To the south-east of the building is the large estate with mostly two-story, neo-Gothic brick buildings from the years between 1860 and 1880. To the north of the manor house there is a large garden with a large number of trees. The manor house was built before 1835 by order of the Stralsund shipowner and later Royal Belgian consul Johann Heinrich Bartels. After his death in 1864, the manor and the estate were converted into a private foundation. Paul Gustav Adolf Schirmann (1874–1932) acquired the manor and manor house in 1928. After that, it was owned by his daughters and his second wife. The manor house has been privately owned since 1997 and is used as a residential building.
