Herzdame is an Austrian band from Hollabrunn , consisting of Christine Kaltenecker and Konstantin Spork.
Band history
Konstantin Spork is a drummer and owns a recording studio in Hollabrunn (Zooradio Records). In 2011 Tine Kaltenecker, who in addition to her job as a freelance graphic designer also works as a singer, was supposed to record several songs there. The joint band Herzdame emerged from this collaboration , named after a playing card that was turned up by chance. From autumn 2012 they were on stage together and the following year they released their first song Regen .
In autumn 2013 they were able to stay in the Austrian charts for twelve weeks with their song Weit, weit weg , including a week in the top 10. In January 2014 they released the song Dark Side , which reached number one in the download charts and immediately afterwards took the highest new entry of the week (3rd place) in the AUSTRIA TOP 40. Later it achieved gold for 15,000 units sold in Austria.
In mid-2015, the collaboration between the two was terminated. “They want to take other paths” it said. Under the direction of Wolfgang Reiss from Bayreuth, the third single, Tränen aus Eis, was created, which also promptly hit the top ranks in the I-Tunes charts. In Austria as well as in Germany. Tine Kaltenecker also joined the KICK management under the leadership of Jürgen Evers from Cologne. As of December 31, 2015, the cooperation with KICK was terminated by mutual agreement.
