Heselwang

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heselwang , also called Höselwang , is an abandoned settlement in the Upper Swabian town of Mindelheim .

It was located near today's Jesuit wood forest north of the B 18 and south of the Memmingen - Buchloe railway line between Mindelheim and Türkheim . The Augsburg cathedral chapter probably owned two hubs there in the middle of the 11th century with the field name heselvuanc , from which the settlement name was derived.
