Today I'm going to tomorrow (original title: Соня Sonja ) is a novel by Kateryna Babkina . It was first published in 2013 by Folio in Kharkiv and in 2016 in German.

The protagonist of the novel is the Ukrainian artist Sonja, who lives in precarious circumstances in western Ukraine. Nevertheless, she manages to come to terms with her life and even has an old Lada. After her boyfriend leaves her pregnant, she tries to travel to the West, first to Poland, where she pretends to want to study and helps a homosexual couple from Ukraine to escape. Then she comes to Berlin, where she meets the Albanian-born Kai, who makes his living smuggling across the Montenegrin-Albanian border. At the end of this odyssey, Sonja succeeds in selling one of her icons in Thessaloniki . Sonja learns to accept the child she is developing.
