Bad Kissingen District Court
The Bad Kissingen District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of three district courts in the district of the Schweinfurt District Court .
history
In 1863, today's court building was built as an originally two-storey hipped roof building in neo-renaissance style for the then regional court in Kissingen . In 1879 the regional courts in Bavaria were renamed local courts. With effect from July 1, 1973, the district courts of Kissingen, Münnerstadt , Hammelburg and Brückenau were merged to form the district court of Kissingen. Demands to move the district court for the district of Bad Kissingen , which was newly created as part of the municipal reform of 1972, to Hammelburg were not implemented.
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is Bad Kissingen . The judicial district extends to the cities and municipalities of the entire Bad Kissingen district with around 103,000 inhabitants. Like every local court, the Bad Kissingen district court is responsible for civil and criminal matters in the first instance, as well as for all enforcement matters if the debtor is domiciled in the judicial district.
As Court of Registration and foreclosure , receivership and bankruptcy proceedings is Amtsgericht Schweinfurt responsible. Dunning procedures take place centrally at the Coburg District Court . Enforcement proceedings are handled centrally by the Hof District Court .

The court is headed by Reinhard Oberndorfer. The regional court of Schweinfurt is directly superior to the court . The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Bamberg .
Courthouse
The court building at Maxstraße 27 is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-317 .
