Maxstrasse 27 (Bad Kissingen)
The property at Maxstraße 27 in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian list of monuments under number D-6-72-114-317 .
history
After the judiciary was separated from the administration in 1862, the city of Kissingen offered a plot of land for a new regional court in Kissingen at the corner of Maxstrasse and Salinenstrasse for 3,000 guilders . In 1863, today's property was built as an originally two-storey hipped roof building in the neo-renaissance style.
In 1879 the regional courts were renamed local courts. After the Second World War, the health department was housed in the district court prison, which was later built behind the courthouse .
During a renovation around 1890, the building was expanded and a third floor was added. In 1939 an annex was built to the west. A crowning in the central axis that existed in the original system and the cornice on the second floor have been removed in the meantime.
With effect from July 1, 1973, the district courts of Kissingen, Münnerstadt , Hammelburg and Brückenau were merged to form the district court of Kissingen. Demands to move the district court for the district of Bad Kissingen , which was newly created as part of the municipal reform of 1972, to Hammelburg were not implemented.
