The Münnerstadt District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Münnerstadt .

history

After the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss the Bishopric of Würzburg canceled and Pfalz-Bayern were given that were Wurzburg offices canceled and on 8 November 1803 instead District Court Münnerstadt formed. With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court of Münnerstadt was formed, the district of which was identical to the previous district court district of Münnerstadt and therefore comprised the communities of Althausen , Brünn , Burghausen , Burglauer , Fridritt , Großwenkheim, Haard , Kleinwenkheim , Maßbach , Münnerstadt, Nickersfelden , Nüdlingen , Poppenlauer , Rannungen , Reichenbach , Roth an der Saale , Rothhausen , Rottershausen , Seubrigshausen , Steinach an der Saale , Strahlungen , Theinfeld , Thundorf in Lower Franconia , Volkershausen , Weektiven , Wermerichshausen and Windheim duration. The higher authority was the Schweinfurt Regional Court .

With the entry into force of the Law on the Organization of Ordinary Courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) on July 1, 1973, the Münnerstadt District Court was repealed and its district, with the exception of the municipality of Strahlungen assigned to the Bad Neustadt an der Saale district court, was assigned to the Bad Kissingen District Court .

Courthouse

The old district court building is originally a four-wing complex, today a three-wing complex, the main building or north wing is a three-storey plastered mansard hipped roof, in the core from 1683, remodeled by Balthasar Neumann 1744–1748. The east wing is a two-storey saddle roof building with a half-timbered upper storey, probably 16./17. Century. The south wing is a saddle roof building made of quarry stone from 1696.
