Koenigshofen District Court in Grabfeld

The district court of Königshofen im Grabfeld was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and is based in what is now Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld .

history

In 1804, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Königshofen district court was established. From 1806 to 1814 it was a regional court in the Grand Duchy of Würzburg . This came to the newly founded Bavarian Lower Main District in 1817 . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Königshofen in Grabfeld , the district of which was congruent with the Königshofen regional court district, which was simultaneously canceled , and thus from the villages of Alsleben , Althausen , Aub , Aubstadt , Breitensee , Eyershausen , Gabolshausen , Gollmuthhausen , Großbardorf , Großeibstadt , Herbstadt , Höchheim , Ipthausen , Irmelshausen , Kleinbardorf , Kleineibstadt , Königshofen, Leinach , Merkershausen , Obereßfeld , Ottelmannshausen , Rothausen , Saal an der Saale , Schwanhausen , Serrfeld , Sternberg im Grabfeld , Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke , Sulzfeld , Trappstadt , Untereßfeld , Waltershausen , Wülfershausen an der Saale and Zimmerau existed. The next higher instance was the Schweinfurt Regional Court .

When the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Koenigshofen District Court in Grabfeld was repealed and its district was assigned to the Bad Neustadt an der Saale District Court .

The district court was located in the town hall on Marktplatz 2.
