Königshofen District Court

The Königshofen regional court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1804 to 1879 and was based in Bad Königshofen in Grabfeld in what is now the Rhön-Grabfeld district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

In 1804, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Königshofen district court was established. From 1806 to 1814 it was a regional court in the Grand Duchy of Würzburg . This came in 1817 to the newly founded Untermainkreis , the forerunner of the later administrative district of Lower Franconia .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Koenigshofen District Court was established in Grabfeld , the district of which was congruent with the Koenigshofen Regional Court district, which had been repealed at the same time, and consisted of Alsleben , Althausen , Aub , Aubstadt , Breitensee , Eyershausen , Gabolshausen , Gollmuthhausen , Großbardorf , Großeibstadt , Herbstadt , Höchheim , Ipthausen , Irmelshausen , Kleinbardorf , Kleineibstadt , Königshofen, Leinach , Merkershausen , Obereßfeld , Ottelmannshausen , Rothausen , Saal an der Saale , Schwanhausen , Serrfeld , Sternberg im Grabfeld , Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke , Sulzfeld , Trappstadt , Untereßfeld , Waltershausen , Wülfershausen an der Saale and Zimmerau existed.
