The District Court of Schöllkrippen was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1943 and was based in Schöllkrippen in Lower Franconia .

Schöllkrippen district court

On September 3, 1858, the royal Bavarian regional court Schöllkrippen was formed from parts of the regional court districts of Alzenau , Aschaffenburg and Rothenbuch .

From the regional court district of Alzenau, these were the communities Dörnsteinbach , Edelbach , Geiselbach , Großblankenbach , Großkahl , Großlaudenbach , Hofstädten , Huckelheim , Kleinblankenbach , Kleinkahl , Kleinlaudenbach , Königshofen , Krombach , Oberwestern , Omersbach , Schneppenbach , Schöllkrippen, Sommerkahl and Unterwestern .

Eichenberg , Feldkahl and Rottenberg were added from the Aschaffenburg regional court and Heinrichsthal and Jakobsthal from the Rothenburch regional court .

On July 1, 1862, administration and justice were separated in the Kingdom of Bavaria . The Schöllkrippen district court was now responsible for the judiciary. The district court remained unchanged. The district court of Aschaffenburg was superordinate to the regional court.

The administrative area was merged with that of the Alzenau district court and the Alzenau district office was formed. The later district of Alzenau emerged from this .

District court Schöllkrippen

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was formed in Schöllkrippen, the district of which was congruent with the previous regional court district Schöllkrippen. The superordinate instances were the Aschaffenburg Regional Court and the Bamberg Higher Regional Court .

In 1943, the Schöllkrippen District Court was closed and its district was added to the Alzenau District Court .

The court had its seat in the former castle, today the town hall, Marktplatz 1 in Schöllkrippen.
