The Klingenberg District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1932 and was based in the city of Klingenberg am Main .

history

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Klingenberg, Lower Franconia , whose district comprised the former communities of Eichelsbach , Elsenfeld , Erlenbach am Main , Eschau , Hausen , Hobbach , Hofstetten , Klingenberg, Mechenhard , Mönchberg , Röllbach , Röllfeld , Rück , Schippach , Schmachtenberg , Sommerau , Streit , Trennfurt and Wörth am Main of the previous regional court district of Klingenberg was created. The next higher instance was the Aschaffenburg district court . On July 1, 1883, the town of Wildensee , which had previously been part of the district court Stadtprozelten , was able to be incorporated.

On February 1, 1932, the Klingenberg District Court was repealed and its district was merged with the district of the Obernburg District Court .

The district court was housed in a four-story hipped roof building at Hauptstrasse 5. The classical building from the first third of the 19th century has a plastered facade with ashlar frames and is protected as a monument.
