Surname
The village of Laudenbach takes its name from the Laudenbach , which flows into the Kahl opposite. To differentiate the place Laudenbach on the other side of the bald, the name affix "large" was added. The place is called "Lauremich" in the Kahlgründer dialect .
history
The municipality of Großlaudenbach belonged to the Alzenau district office , which was formed on July 1, 1862. On January 1, 1939, this became part of the Alzenau district in Lower Franconia .
On July 1, 1972, the previously independent community was incorporated into Kleinkahl.
