District Court of Eltmann

The district court of Eltmann was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1819 to 1879 and was based in Eltmann in today's Haßberge district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

The district court of Eltmann was established as early as 1804 in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . From 1806 to 1814 it was a regional court in the Grand Duchy of Würzburg . This came to the Untermainkreis , the forerunner of the later administrative district of Lower Franconia . In 1819 the older Bavarian regional court with its seat in Eltmann was re-established.

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the District Court of Eltmann was set up , the district of which was congruent with the previous District Court district of Eltmann and thus from the communities of Bischofsheim , Dankenfeld , Dippach , Ebelsbach , Eltmann, Eschenbach , Falsbrunn , Fatschenbrunn , Fürnbach , Gleisenau , Karbach , Kirchaich , Knetzgau , Lembach , Limbach , Neuschleichach , Oberschleichach , Obersteinbach , Prölsdorf , Roßstadt , Sand am Main , Schmachtenberg , Schönbach , Schönbrunn , Steinbach , Stettfeld , Theinheim , Tretzendorf , Trossenfurt , Unterschleichach , Untersteinbach , Weisbrunn , Zeil am Main , Zell am Ebersberg and Ziegelanger existed.
