District Court Wiesentheid
The District Court of Wiesentheid was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1808 to 1810 and from 1853 to 1879 and was based in Wiesentheid in what is now the district of Kitzingen . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .
history
In the course of the mediatization of the previously imperial territories, the Grafschaft Wiesentheid was dissolved by the Lords of Schönborn in 1806 and added to the Marktsteft district court in the Rezatkreis . Between 1808 and 1810, however, a district court Wiesentheid was established for a short time with its seat in the market town. At that time it only comprised very few localities, which were grouped around Wiesentheid, Castell and Markt Einersheim.
Although the Counts of Schönborn exercised no secular power over their former subjects, they retained the right to punish minor offenses. The so-called patrimonial jurisdiction was based in Wiesentheid and existed as a 2nd class court until 1846. In 1846 it was upgraded to a 1st class patrimonial court before privileges were finally abolished in 1848 and the courts were dissolved.
In 1835 the discussion began to install an older district court in Wiesentheid. For this purpose, several communities were separated from the already existing Gerolzhofen Regional Court . On July 1, 1853, the Wiesentheid Regional Court was able to take up its office. In 1862 the regional court was dissolved as an administrative authority, the communities came to the expanded and converted district office Kitzingen . From then on, the district court in Wiesentheid was only legally responsible for the places.
With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Wiesentheid District Court was established, whose districts consisted of the communities of Abtswind , Altenschönbach , Atzhausen , Castell , Ebersbrunn , Feuerbach , Geesdorf , Greuth , Kirchschönbach , Neuses am Sand , Prichsenstadt , Rehweiler , Rüdenhausen , Siegendorf , Untersambach , Wiesentheid and Wüstenfelden of the previous district court district Wiesentheid was formed.
