District Court Aura

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Aura district court (also known as Burgjoss district court) was an older Bavarian district court established on October 1, 1814, with its seat in Aura im Sinngrund in what is now the Main-Spessart district .

By virtue of the very highest resolutions of June 30, 1828 and January 8 and 14, 1829, the Aura district court was dissolved. The localities Aura, Mittelinn, Obersinn, Pfaffenhausen, Deutelsbach, Oberndorf, Burgjoss and Meinerts were assigned to the district court Orb and the localities Wohnroth with Neuhof, Fellen, Rengersbrunn, Trockenbach and Burgsinn to the district court Gemünden.

In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

The former area of the Orb Regional Court in the Gemünden District Office, established in 1862, was occupied by Prussia in 1866 with the exception of Aura im Sinngrund .
