District court Stadtprozelten

The district court Stadtprozelten was a Bavarian district court of the older order, which existed from 1814 to 1829 and again from 1853, with its seat in Stadtprozelten in what is today the district of Miltenberg . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1814 the district court Stadtprozelten was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . This came in 1817 to the newly founded Untermainkreis , the forerunner of the later administrative district of Lower Franconia .

On March 19, 1853, the district court Stadtprozelten from the Kreuzwertheim district and the communities of Breitenbrunn , Dorfprozelten , Faulbach , Fechenbach , Neuenbuch , Oberaltenbuch , Reistenhausen , Stadtprozelten , Unteraltenbuch , Esselbach , Oberndorf and Röttbach was re-established.

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the district court Stadtprozelten was set up, its district consisting of the municipalities of Breitenbrunn , Dorfprozelten , Faulbach , Fechenbach , Hasloch , Hasselberg , Neuenbuch , Oberaltenbuch , Reistenhausen , Schollbrunn , Stadtprozelten and Unteraltenbuch of the previous district court district Stadtprozelten as well as the Wildensee community, separated from the Klingenberg Regional Court , was formed.
