The Haßfurt District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of the three district courts (AG) in the district of the Bamberg District Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is the district town of Haßfurt in Lower Franconia . The 956 km² judicial district extends to the district of Haßberge . Around 84,000 people live in it.

Registration Court is the District Court Bamberg , which also foreclosure , receivership and insolvency proceedings has jurisdiction. The Coburg District Court processes dunning procedures as the central dunning court .

Since April 16, 2018, the district court and all departments have been located in a new building at Hofheimer Straße 1.

The former place of jurisdiction was in Zwerchmaingasse. The main building at Zwerchmaingasse 18 was built in 1880 and is a listed building . The land registry was housed in the building at Zwerchmaingasse 16 . A branch of the AG was located in the new town hall, Hauptstrasse 5 .

Superior courts

The Bamberg Regional Court is superordinate to the Haßfurt District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Bamberg .
