The district court of Höchstadt an der Aisch was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959, with its seat in Höchstadt an der Aisch , which was continued as a branch of the district court of Forchheim until 1973 .

history

In 1804, the regional court of Höchstadt an der Aisch was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . From 1806 to 1814 it was meanwhile a regional court in the Grand Duchy of Würzburg . With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Höchstadt an der Aisch , the district of which was composed of the municipalities of the previous district court district. The higher-level instances were the Bamberg Regional Court and the Bamberg Higher Regional Court . In 1959 the district court continued to operate as a branch of the Forchheim district court . On July 1, 1973, the branch of the Forchheim District Court in Höchstadt an der Aisch was dissolved and its proceedings were assigned to the Erlangen District Court .
