District court Sesslach
The District Court of Sesslach was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1929 and was based in the city of Sesslach .
history
In 1812, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Seßlach was established. This was added to the Mainkreis , whose capital was Bamberg . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Seßlach, the district of which was identical to the previous district court district of Seßlach and thus the municipalities of Altenhof , Autenhausen , Busendorf , Dietersdorf , Eggenbach , Freiberg , Gemünda , Gleismuthhausen , Gleußen , Hattersdorf , Kaltenbrunn , Lahm , Lechenroth , Merlach , Neundorf , Oberelldorf , Rothenberg , Schorkendorf , Schottenstein , Seßlach, Unterelldorf , Welsberg and Witzmannsberg . The higher authority was the Bamberg Regional Court . With effect from October 1, 1929, the district court of Sesslach was repealed and its district was divided as follows:
- The localities Altenhof, Autenhausen, Dietersdorf, Gemünda, Gleismuthhausen, Gleußen, Hattersdorf, Lechenroth, Merlach, Neundorf, Oberelldorf, Rothenberg, Schorkendorf, Schottenstein, Seßlach, Unterelldorf, Welsberg and Witzmannsberg were assigned to the district court of Coburg ,
- while the places Busendorf, Eggenbach, Freiberg, Kaltenbrunn and Lahm went to the Staffelstein District Court .
