District Court Sesslach

The district court of Seßlach was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1812 to 1879 and was based in Seßlach in today's district of Coburg . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

In 1812, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Seßlach was established. This was added to the Mainkreis , whose capital was Bamberg .

The District Office Staffelstein was formed in 1862 through the merger of the regional courts of the older order of Seßlach and Staffelstein . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the District Court of Seßlach was established , the district of which was identical to the previous District Court district of Seßlach and thus the municipalities of Altenhof , Autenhausen , Busendorf , Dietersdorf , Eggenbach , Freiberg , Gemünda , Gleismuthhausen , Gleußen , Hattersdorf , Kaltenbrunn , Lahm , Lechenroth , Merlach , Neundorf , Oberelldorf , Rothenberg , Schorkendorf , Schottenstein , Seßlach, Unterelldorf , Welsberg and Witzmannsberg included.
