Staffelstein District Court

The Staffelstein District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and is based in what is now Bad Staffelstein .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in the town of Staffelstein, the district of which was formed from the previous district of Staffelstein and thus the communities of Altenbanz , Birkach , Dittersbrunn , Döringstadt , Draisdorf , Ebensfeld , Ebing , Frauendorf , Grundfeld , Herreth , Horsdorf , Kleukheim , caraway , Medlitz , Mass field , Nedensdorf , Oberbrunnwald , Oberküps , Oberleiterbach , Prächting , Rattelsdorf , Schonbrunn , Schwab Thal , Serkendorf , Stadel , Staffelstein, Stublang , Uetzing , Unnersdorf , Unterbrunn , Unterleiterbach , Unterneuses , Unterzettlitz , Weingarten , Wiesen , Wolfsdorf and Zapfendorf included. The next higher instance was the Bamberg Regional Court .

As a result of the repeal of the Sesslach District Court on October 1, 1929, the Staffelstein District Court area expanded to include Busendorf , Eggenbach , Freiberg , Kaltenbrunn and Lahm, and the community of Lauf was added by the dissolution of the Scheßlitz District Court on January 1, 1932 .

After the war-related downgrade of the local court Staffelstein to a branch of the District Court Lichtenfels in the District Court of Coburg and the official confirmation of this measure in 1956, this branch has been ordered by the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice repealed with effect from 1 July 1959th
