Untereuses is a district of the market Ebensfeld in the Upper Franconian district of Lichtenfels in the north of the Free State of Bavaria .

location

The clustered village lies between Ebensfeld and Bad Staffelstein am Haselbach in the wide valley of the Obermain . State road 2197 runs to the west and federal highway 73 to the east .

history

Catholic Chapel Immaculate Heart of Mary

Untereuses was first mentioned in a document in 1203 as "Nuoseze" (new seat). In the later centuries the place was also called "Neusses unter / bey Staffelstein". The current place name has only been used since 1843.

In 1904 the branch church was built. The water pipe was laid in 1905 and electricity was added in 1909. The primary school at that time was built in 1911. Between 1957 and 1963 the district was reorganized through land consolidation .

On July 1, 1972, Untereuses was incorporated into the Ebensfeld store.
