history

The first mention was in 1400 in the fief book . The mayor of Bamberg , Johannes Hasfurter, had, among other things, an estate for "Streippling" from the Bamberg bishop. In 1403 the place "Strewpling" was recorded under the episcopal tax revenues. In 1508 there was a map entry with the place name "Streubling". The place name should go back to a personal name.

In 1801 the place "Sträubling" consisted of a yard with two houses, barns, a sheep house and outbuildings. The high and low jurisdiction was held by the office of the Bamberg bishopric in Lichtenfels. The settlement was parish after Ebensfeld.

In 1862 the hamlet was incorporated into the newly created Bavarian District Office Staffelstein . From 1864 it had the current place name and was part of the rural community of Dittersbrunn , which belonged to the Staffelstein district court.

In 1871 Sträublingshof had 32 residents, all of whom were Catholic, and 19 buildings. The Catholic school was in Prächting, 3.0 kilometers away, and the church in Ebensfeld, 5.5 kilometers away. In 1900 the two places of the rural community Dittersbrunn covered an area of 310.85 hectares, 144 inhabitants, all of whom were Catholics, and 29 residential buildings. 30 people lived in Sträublingshof in 4 residential buildings and in 1925 26 people lived in 4 residential buildings. The place had meanwhile been parish off to Prächting. In 1950 Sträublingshof had 29 residents and 4 residential buildings and was assigned to the Protestant parish in Staffelstein. In 1970 the hamlet had 27 inhabitants and in 1987 13 inhabitants and 5 residential buildings with 5 apartments.

On July 1, 1972, the Staffelstein district was dissolved. Sträublingshof came to the Lichtenfels district with Dittersbrunn . On January 1, 1978, the Dittersbrunn community was incorporated with the Sträublingshof community to Ebensfeld.
