The bishopric had the sovereignty, center , village, community and land rulership.

In 1862 Uetzing was incorporated into the newly created Bavarian District Office Staffelstein . The rural community belonged to the Staffelstein District Court.

In 1871 Uetzing had 571 inhabitants, 237 buildings and 114 residential buildings. The Catholic school and church were in the village. In 1900, 509 people lived in 108 residential buildings in the rural community of Uetzing and in 1925 530 people, all of whom were Catholic, lived in 102 residential buildings. In 1950 Uetzing had 694 residents and 100 residential buildings. In 1970 the parish village had 535 inhabitants, in 1987 502 inhabitants and 124 residential buildings with 144 apartments.
