Attractions

The Catholic Chapel of the Holy Family was built in 1899 on the initiative of Ignatz Gründel. The chapel has a gable roof and an open gable tower. It is a hall with a retracted choir . The furnishings, consisting of an altar with a relief of the Heilgen family, four wooden figures and pictures of the Stations of the Cross, are from the construction period. With the incorporation, the chapel became the property of the town of Staffelstein.

Shell

A natural monument is the shell , a small natural pond, in the subsurface of which there is probably a thin local layer of marl which, as a waterproof layer, accumulates rainwater and groundwater as well as the rainwater discharged from the neighboring roofs. The Hüllwasser served as drinking water for the cattle and as process water on the karstified, arid Frankenalb.
