Brno is a district of Münnerstadt in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , Bavaria .

Geographical location

The place is three kilometers east of Münnerstadt an der Lauer .

Touching the place, the state road 2282 runs westward via Althausen to Münnerstadt and eastward to Kleinwenkheim .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document as early as 899. In 1217 the village was sold to the Bildhausen monastery . Wine was grown in Brno until the 17th century. From 1862 the place belonged to the Bad Kissingen district .

The Church of St. Sebastian was built around 1400 and is dedicated to St. Sebastian . It was expanded in 1957.

On January 1, 1972, Brno was incorporated into Münnerstadt.
