Hey Baby (Drop it to the Floor) is a song by the Cuban American rapper Pitbull and T-Pain . It was released on September 10, 2010 as a promotional single for Pitbull's sixth studio album, Planet Pit .

The song was written by Armando C. Perèz (aka Pitbull), Faheem R. Najm (aka T-Pain) and Sandy Wilhelm (aka Sandy Vee). The latter is also the official producer. The song made it to number 7 in the US Billboard charts, number 24 in Germany and 39 and 95 in the annual charts of the two countries.

Hey Baby (Drop it to the Floor) has been sold over 2 million times worldwide. The music video, which appeared on Pitbull's official YouTube channel Pitbull VEVO , was viewed over 160 million times.

In the chorus , parts of the song Push It are sampled by Salt 'n' Pepa .
