Heyco is a Remscheid-based company that manufactures hand tools as well as forged and plastic components for the automotive industry.

Heyco was founded in 1937 by Max and Ernst Heynen in Remscheid. From 1945 the company processed parts for the automotive industry and later started manufacturing hand tools. The company's location outside Remscheid was established in Tittling in 1961 . In 1973, Shamrock Forge & Tools became the first foreign subsidiary in the Republic of Ireland. Heyco's entry into plastics processing was achieved in 1980 by taking over Carl Steinmann Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH, which also comes from Remscheid.
