Hieracosphinx

The Hieracosphinx is an ancient Egyptian , mythical animal in the form of a griffin- like hybrid creature . Hieracosphinx sculptures have been found in Egypt and it also appears in European heraldry . It has the body of a lion, but replaces the eagle's head typical of the Griffin with that of a falcon .

Trivia

In the Monster in My Pocket series is the Hieracosphinx figure # 91, in the Yu-Gi-Oh series it also appears.
