Auxiliary tank fire engine (Czech Republic)
A rescue tank fire engine is a fire service vehicle. It differs from the tank fire engine mainly in that, in addition to a large water tank, it is also equipped with devices and materials for rescuing people. The Czech abbreviation for an emergency tank fire engine is CAS, just like for the tank fire engine and the large tank fire engine.
Area of responsibility
A rescue tank fire engine is equipped with devices for rescuing people, such as hydraulic rescue equipment and a large tank for extinguishing water . It is therefore well suited for fire operations in areas without a water supply, but also for various aid missions. Thanks to the large water tank, it can be used in shuttle traffic to supply other fire engines with water.
