The Hillier Moss is a wetland on Signy Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . The area, interspersed with a few small ponds and extensive moss carpets , is 300 m north of Lenton Point in the southeast of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1974 after Edward Richard Hillier (* 1940), a doctor at the British Antarctic Survey station set up on Signy Island in 1967.
