Donja Gradina execution area

The Donja Gradina execution area was the execution area of the Jasenovac concentration camp in the fascist Independent State of Croatia (NDH) during World War II . It was located near the present-day Bosnian-Herzegovinian village of Donja Gradina opposite the main camp of Jasenovac on the other side of the Sava River . There, thousands of Serbs , Jews and Roma were brutally murdered by the Ustashas .
