Hiroaki Kuwahara

Hiroaki Kuwahara ( Japanese 桑 原 洋 明 , Kuwahara Hiroaki ; born September 12, 1943 in Tokyo , Japan ) is a Japanese composer and conductor .

He completed his studies at Kunitachi Music College in Tokyo , Japan a . a. with the lecturers Michio Kikukawa , Saburō Takata and Yuzuru Shimaoka . He is now a lecturer at the Chiyoda School of Technology and Fine Arts in Tokyo.

He created symphonic works and chamber music. Outside of Japan, however, the works for wind orchestra are particularly well known.
