Hiroki Shibuya ( Japanese 渋 谷 洋 樹 Shibuya Hiroki ; born November 30, 1966 in Hokkaido ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shibuya learned to play soccer on the school team at Muroran Otani High School . He signed his first contract with Furukawa Electric in 1985 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1985/86 . In 1986 he won the JSL Cup with the club . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Furukawa Electric became JEF United Ichihara . He then played for Tosu Futures and NTT Kanto (today: Omiya Ardija). At the end of 1997 he ended his career as a football player.

In 2004 Shibuya became the assistant coach of Omiya Ardija . In 2010 he moved to Ventforet Kofu . In 2014 he returned to Omiya Ardija. In August 2014, Shibuya became the head coach of Omiya Ardija. At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2015 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . In 2018 Shibuya became Roasso Kumamoto's trainer . At the end of the 2018 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League .
