Career
Hiroya Matsumoto learned to play football in the youth team of the first division club Sanfrecce Hiroshima . Here he signed his first professional contract in September 2018. The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island of Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2019, he completed four top division games.
